What's the differences between a Crock Pot and a Slow Cooker?

If you are adding potatoes to your meat in the crock pot, and cooking them the same amount of time then the potatoes will make it like stew. Try putting the meat at the bottom then later in the day add the veggies to the top, since they won't take as long to cook.
