Is it ok for baby to be around grandpa?

My father was diagnosed with bronchitis on Wednesday. He has been on an antibiotic ( azithromycin ) since then and is feeling better. We would like to go over and visit him this afternoon. Is it ok to take our 4 month old daughter with us? Or should be play it safe and not let her around him until he is completely well? I always heard that if you have been on an antibiotic for at least 2 days then you are no longer contagious, is that true?
