How 2 avoid a deleted cont in Yahoo Msgr cing you Online? He is no more in my list to keep in stealth setting?

I had added a contact in my yahoo messenger. And in due course deleted him from my list. He can still see me when I'm online and I cannot keep in stealth setting (Invisible) as he is no more in my list?
