How do i get my skills sharpened in web designing?

I've been wanting to practice my skills in web design but i can't seem to practice due to the reason that i don't have anything to practice to. Like everyday i wake up and sit on my comp, I open Dreamweaver then i start staring at my unfinished project. Any ideas?
