Worlds of Fun is a great choice! Also you can consider Great Wolfe Lodge which is an indoor amusement location for children. Downtown KC is a great nightlife for dining, clubing, tailing, and site seeing. Power & LIght District which is downtown is a good nightlife for adults. Westin Crown Center is a great hotel which is in the Crown Center area also a great place for children. Actually across the street from your hotel is Union Station, which is a family attraction with lots of fun things to do for familys and children. www.unionstation.org
